Raleigh Street 2

Perhaps the most challenging property AC&BS has ever undertook. The property was so steep that the lower retainer wall, designed by engineers contained more than 60 cubic metres of concrete; block fill and 9 tonne of reinforced steel.

The slope of the land required 4 retainer walls alone to hold the mountain back and to allow for construction of the house. The driveway also possessed issues with the 30 degree fall and engineer requirements allowing for piers to eliminate slippage.

AC&BS with engineers worked though these issues and completed the build on time and within budget. Other issues to overcome with the wind ratings and sewer mains that had to be replaced to Council specifications.
